Secure hosting
The information collected when submitting a hint is stored at our ISO/IEC 27001 certified hoster (Hetzner Online GmbH) in the data center in Germany.
Isolated data storage
Your data is always separated from all other customer data, so we ensure the highest level of security. You do not share a database with other customers.
Encryption
Hints are encrypted end-to-end before being sent. The transmission of the data is secured with TLS and the database is additionally encrypted separately.
2-factor authentication
We recommend using our 2-factor authentication to provide increased security in the login process of your Hintbox user accounts.
Metadata removal
Uncleaned metadata of files is a problem of anonymous hint submission, that's why we remove metadata automatically when uploading files.

Our case management is designed to support you as simply and securely as possible in the legally compliant documentation and processing of reports.
